Paid Summer Fellowship for Cape Cod Educators
What is the Program?
This program is a unique collaboration between the Children’s School of Science (CSS) and Grass Labs at the Marine Biological Laboratory. Fellows will co-teach an intensive neuroscience course alongside visiting PhD scientists.

- 3-week summer session (14 days total)
- July 20 – August 6
- Schedule: 2.5 hours daily (Mid-Afternoon)
- Located in Woods Hole, MA
- Live neurophysiology experiments with students / Inquiry-based classroom

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don’t teach neuroscience?
No prior neuroscience background is required! The fellowship is designed to train you on the fundamentals and the equipment alongside the visiting scientists.
Is this only for biology teachers?
No. We welcome any science, STEM, or CTE educator interested in bringing live electrophysiology and neurobiology into their curriculum.
Where is the program located?
The program is based in Woods Hole at the Children’s School of Science, in collaboration with the Grass Labs at MBL.
